Standard Cancellation and Refund Timeline

Exceeding 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Complete refund after subtracting transaction charges

Time Frame for Processing: 5-7 working days

Transaction Charge: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Cancellation must be requested through written correspondence or over the phone

Between 24 to 72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Entitled to: Half of the total charter fee

Time Frame for Processing: 7-10 working days

Transaction Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Requirements: A valid reason is required and admin fees are deducted

Under 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Entitled to: No refund possible

Exemption: Emergent situations might be assessed

Alternative: Charter credit could be considered at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Proof is needed for emergency claims

Adverse Weather Cancellations

Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our first concern. Should the conditions be unsafe for charter as determined by our certified captain, we offer alternatives:

  • Complete Refund: Provided in full if rescheduling is unfeasible
  • Reschedule: Reschedule your charter to a later date without additional charges
  • Charter Credit: Issued a credit valid for one year from the initial charter date

Weather Evaluation Procedure

We make our weather evaluations based on:

  • Assessment of wind conditions
  • Review of ocean wave scale and water conditions
  • Forecast of visibility and rainfall
  • Consideration of Coast Guard notifications and alerts
  • Expert safety determination by the captain

Timing of Decision: Calls regarding weather cancellations are taken no later than four hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Urgency Refunds

Exceptional Circumstances

We comprehend the unpredictability of medical urgencies. Certain scenarios might merit special consideration:

  • Unexpected ailment or harm necessitating hospital admission
  • Passing away of a close family member
  • Enlistment or sudden recall from the military
  • Summon to jury service or a court order
  • Natural events disrupting travel plans

Proof Required

To expedite emergency refund claims, kindly provide:

  • Verification from a medical practitioner or hospital records
  • Certificate of death (where applicable)
  • Military assignments documentation
  • Court notices or jury requirement authentication
  • Notifications of travel cautions or disaster proclamations

Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are addressed within 3-5 business days following the submission of the necessary documentation.

Cancellations Due to Operations

Technical Difficulties

If the yacht allocated to you faces technical troubles that cannot be timely resolved:

  • Alternative Yacht: We will attempt to offer a comparable yacht as an alternative
  • Full Refund: If there is no available equivalent alternative
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement yacht is priced differently
  • Compensation: Further compensation might be offered to make up for the inconvenience

Crew Availability

On rare occasions where no certified crew is available:

  • We will try to arrange an alternate crew
  • Complete refund if the charter cannot be carried out as planned
  • Opportunity to reschedule at no extra charge

Refunds will be made through the original method used for purchase:

  • Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: Processed within 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Check: Processed within 3-5 working days

€50 fee for reversals made more than 72 hours before the charter

Bank Transfer Charges

€25 fee applied to all bank transfer refunds

Costs for International Transactions

Additional costs can apply for refunds processed across borders

Credit on Future Charters

Instances Credits May be Issued

Charter credits might be offered in lieu of a cash refund in some cases:

  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Customer-requested changes to bookings
  • Service disruptions

Terms of Credit

  • Validity Period: Valid for a year from the date of issuance
  • Non-transferability: The credit cannot be passed on to third parties
  • Credit Amount: Equal to the full value of the charter, without deduction of processing fees
  • Use Conditions: Applicable on any future charter available
  • No Extension: Credit is forfeited if not used within 12 months

Proportional Refunds for Partial Services

Interruptions in Service

In the event that your charter is disrupted or abbreviated due to factors we control:

  • A refund proportionate to the unused portion
  • Credit towards a future charter of equivalent value
  • Additional complimentary services or upgrades

Interruptions Due to Guests

Should the charter end prematurely due to the guest's behavior or breaches of safety protocols:

  • No refund will be provided for the unutilized time
  • Full charges are still payable
  • Additional fees may be levied

Resolution of Disputes

In case you hold a different view on a refund outcome, you may:

  • Ask for a reconsideration by our administrative body
  • Present further documentation or proof
  • Look for an amicable resolution via consumer advocacy groups
  • Explore legal options as per the jurisdictional law
